The company was founded across a kitchen table in 1991 when the owners, Julie and Gerald Banks realized that there was little help for the less advantaged and unemployed people in their area. They decided to form a training company to help those who needed to find sustainable employment across all occupations. In this way, Access Training was born and this client-led, professional yet family orientated company has evolved throughout the years. They have been fortunate in recruiting staff with the same work ethic and professionalism as themselves allowing the company to be both responsive and supportive to the needs of all clients at all levels.
Training options offered by Access Training cover a wide geographical area, from the tip of Cornwall to Wiltshire and all stops in between, offering clients realistic solutions, in a constantly changing workplace.
Perhaps because of our location, working within one of the main tourist destinations for the UK and beyond, the company also specializes in many of the qualifications required to work within the tourism and hospitality sectors. This includes many of the British Institute of Innkeeping Awards Body (BIIAB) and Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH) qualifications required by staff who choose to work within holiday parks, out of town retail attractions, public houses, restaurants, hotels and guest houses.
Perhaps the kitchen table format has never quite left us and we can still respond creatively to any individual's training requests and if necessary tailor the training to suit that individual as well as being able to formulate larger solutions for corporate training concerns and their various requirements.
