Access Training can provide help and advice on employment, careers and training. Our services offer a variety of recruitment solutions, from guidance and mentoring to work preparation. Access Training is your one-stop-shop to making your way back to work in a relaxed and enjoyable manner. 

Working directly with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), we can deliver: 

• Community Task Force
• Work Preparation
• New Deal Mentoring

Our programmes are devised to support people in their personal development, with finding work-placements and ultimately in finding employment in Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.

We have helped people find employment through these schemes for the past 15 years. During this time we have worked with people who have suffered with all manners of sensory and physical impairments as well as assisting clients with learning difficulties such as autism. Clients may have suffered with disabilities since birth or have experienced a major trauma in their life, but throughout our programmes we continue to help individuals at  every stage of their journey.

We work to the basic principle that it is the clients’ scheme, and empowerment must be present at all stages of development. For this reason, we have devised a range of job-search and motivation modules along with specialist services which are available to all clients:

• NCFE Basic Skills Qualifications
• Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
• Specialist Provision

Other services that we also offer include, travel buddy, job coach, signer for the deaf, readers for the blind and many more.
