Access to Work

The Access to Work Programme is a Jobcentre Plus grant scheme, which assists people with a disability who are in paid employment or undertaking a Work Trial by providing practical support in overcoming work related obstacles resulting from their disability.

The focus of the Access to Work Programme is on holistic assessments that incorporate all aspects that previously were covered by specialist assessments, such as ergonomic, technical and sensory assessments. A holistic assessment will be undertaken of the individual’s disability exploring all relevant factors that impact on the individual’s employment.

Access Training is a subcontractor to 3SC to deliver this scheme throughout Wales. We employ a number of highly qualified assessors to carry out these assessments and suggest a range of solutions to suit the individual’s needs and help them to overcome their barriers within the workplace.
