- Produce a concise 1 - 2 page word document
- A CV should include, in order: your most recent career achievements and your current employment, your previous employment history, your education, qualifications, skills that might be applicable to the job role that you are applying for, a section about your personal interests and any other additional highlights e.g. life experience.
- Words should be chosen with care when describing your capabilities and job seekers should avoid exaggerating their skills.
- Never lie on your CV; you will be caught out eventually.
- Select an attractive but simple layout design. Bullet points are useful for breaking-up key sections of text.
