RSPH Level 1 Certificate in Food Hygiene Awareness
If you are, or intend to be, a food hander, then this is the course for you! The course may also be appropriate for people whose work requires them to enter a food premises, for example, equipment maintenance engineers.
The course will cover the importance of food hygiene, associated food hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems. In turn this will help food handlers to understand and maintain good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food.
How much will the course cost me?
The certificate will cost a total of £46.00 excluding VAT.
How long will it take me to qualify?
The course may be taken as a stand-alone qualification, or as part of a wider course of training. To achieve the certificate as a stand-alone qualification it will require ½ day of training.
