This is a great qualification for those who are, or who intend to be, food handlers working in the catering industry. The aim of the qualification is to teach candidates about food hygiene, food hazards and food safety management systems specific to the catering industry.

This is a short course, usually taken over the course of 1 day, with a 40 multiple-choice question paper to be taken at then end of the day.
