BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders
Course Summary
This nationally recognised, government approved qualification is designed for anyone who wishes to apply for a Personal Licence in order to authorise the sale of alcohol in licensed premises.
This qualification replaces the BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders as of 1st April 2011. Under the Licensing Act 2003, anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol will have to hold a personal licence. In order to qualify for a personal licence, an applicant must hold a licensing qualification, which is Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) accredited, and Government approved. This qualification is both QCA accredited and Government approved, and has been specifically designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003. The qualification is nationally recognised and is designed for anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol in licensed premises including:
- Pubs & bars Sports and Social Clubs
- Hotels and restaurants,
- Nightclubs
- Entertainment establishments
- Off-licences,
- Supermarkets and convenience stores
- Any other venue where alcohol is sold

The total course cost is £120.00 excluding VAT. This price covers course materials, examination fees and tea & coffee refreshments.

The course duration is 1 day.
