What's it all about?
The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme course covers topics including: The health and safety at work act, construction, design and management regulations, risk assessments and method statements, recent changes in accepted working practices, behavioural safety, management of occupational health, electricity, excavations, working at height, scaffolding, demolition and confined spaces.
Is it suitable for me?
This is a five day course that provides project managers, works managers and supervisors, along with business proprietors and client based personnel with the knowledge and skills to enable them to ensure healthy and safe conditions for construction site employees. The course is recognised by Build UK (previously the UK Contractors Group) as meeting the required standard for all managers working on Build UK Sites.
How will I be assessed?
This is a highly interactive course delivered by means of case studies, classroom discussion and group work. In addition to this you will be required to undertake some self-study outside the classroom environment. You will be continuously assessed and required to successfully complete a multiple choice examination. On successful completion, you will receive your CITB Site Safety Plus Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certificate.
